BERRIES AND COCOA
Ayehu coffee comes from a Horizon/Ethio-Agriceft farm in the Amhara region of northern Ethiopia, where they practice sustainable agriculture and are Rainforest Alliance certified.
Dry or 'natural' processing, done in the country of origin, allows the beans to keep more sugar inside.
The roasting process and natural processing give the coffee sweetness and creaminess in the cup, as well as notes of red fruits, caramel and cocoa.
The plants are cultivated at an altitude of 1,700-1,900 metres and belong to the ancient variety.
